Happy Valentine’s Day 2018 Free Blood Pressure Check

Happy-Valentines-Day
Regardless of whether you are in a relationship or not may you be covered in Love today.

From it’s tragic origin Valentine’s day has evolved into a sweet and love filled holiday.  This holiday

has evolved to include gifts to pets as well in the recent years.  Millions of cards are exchanged and tons of chocolate as well.

This holiday is celebrated all over the world in some form or another.

How about the XOXO often used? Many believe the X symbol became synonymous with the kiss in medieval times. People who couldn’t write their names signed in front of a witness with an X. The X was then kissed to show their sincerity.

As a community service and the local member of the Foundations for Wellness Professionals our office offers a FREE blood pressure check.

According to the American Red Cross 1 out of 4 people have high blood pressure and millions go undetected each year.  The leading cause of death in the US is heart disease.

Our goal is to help reduce this in our community.

If you have a question about your blood pressure or would like to have it checked please feel free to contact our office.

May you have a happy and healthy Valentine’s Day

Chiropractic Improves Much More Than Expected!

giraffe-chiropractic
This case study is a true lesson in what Chiropractic can accomplish – no matter how bad the situation.
A patient with a variety of medically diagnosed neurological conditions recently came into the office after a fall. After being treated for vertebral subluxations which is a term for vertebra which are misaligned and irritating nerves, she has achieved a remarkable cessation of symptoms.
In addition to the pain from the fall, the 76-year-old female patient was suffering from several other diagnosed conditions including muscular dystrophy, hypertension, headaches and frequent vertigo (dizziness).
But because of her other conditions, she was already having difficulty breathing, suffering extreme weakness in her lower extremities, and needed constant help just getting around. She also experienced vertigo on a weekly basis, and suffered from headaches. She was on several medications for these conditions.
Rather than chasing after all her different conditions, with a chiropractic examination a standard set of diagnostics were performed. The patient’s overall health was assessed utilizing standard forms, and further diagnostics included thermography, x-rays and surface electromyography (SEMG) to assess muscle weakness. Subluxations were found, and a program was set out to correct them using specific Chiropractic care and home exercise.
The patient reported overall improvement in pain and a decrease in her vertigo after a month of treatments. At 6 weeks she was able to discontinue all blood pressure medication, and at 2 months she was gaining increased muscle strength. After 4 months she was almost clear of all her medical symptoms and no longer needed the drugs she had been taking.
This success story began with seeking relief for pain from a fall, and led to the eradication of not just that pain, but the complete eradication of all major health problems – muscular dystrophy, hypertension, headaches and vertigo. And all because a chiropractor did the most basic of Chiropractic treatments – correction of subluxations.
“Further investigation into subluxation and deviations from the normal spinal alignment as a contributing factor to neurological disease should be pursued,” was the conclusion of the study.
In fact, the condition of the spine affects every part of the body. No matter what condition you or your loved ones are dealing with, it is worth checking with your chiropractor about a possible solution. You may well be able to avoid drugs, surgery, disability and pain, and live a happier, healthier life!
